Description
Jade and Ruby again! Jade has red hair; Ruby has blue-green, so why are they named the opposite? More simply than you think. When the exhausted mother was holding her children in her arms, she was mesmerized by their eyes (keep in mind that babies barely have hair when first born).
Ruby: Jade, you're scaring me! Why are you crying?
Jade: Why?! Because...we are of horrible health and there is nothing we can do about it! We never leave the house and we don't eat well! I don't want to die--and I don't want to lose you!
Ruby:*blindly locks arms around Jade's* Sister, don't say this...don't think this way...we can get through this. Stress can also shorten lifespans, so let's try to be more optimistic.
Jade: *sighs* I just don't know what to do...I'm...so heavy, and you're so weak. Exercising would be sooo difficult in our conjoined state. The only way I could run is by being hunched over, and though you're not heavy, I would still most likely gain back pain.
Ruby: Well the only thing I can do is eat lesser but healthier. You know I would do more work if I could, and when we manage to equalize our weight, I'll definitely exercise as well. I honestly dream of us achieving this goal, so if it means I need to consume less, then damn it I will, Jade! Results won't be shown overnight, but I just know we--no...I can do better! This is mainly my fault after all...
Jade:...I'm not going to blame you for living. We're not wired the way everyone else is. We don't realize we're hurting each other until it's too lat--
Ruby: But it's not too late, and that's why I feel we can do this. I'm determined to diet. Are you determined to burn?
Jade: *sends a smile to her sister* Let's do it. Let's improve our lives. Let's become presentable to the world! Thank you, Ruby...
