Leoanard: Hey Ten-ten, I showed you this before right?
Tenshi: A picture of a little girl? No, but she's pretty despite her expression.
Leonard: Heheh, well thank you. I wasn't really an expressive child.
Tenshi: ...Wait what?
Leonard: What?
Tenshi: There's no way...
Leonard: What do you mean?
Tenshi: Leonard!
Leonard: What?
Tenshi: You're lying!
Leonard: I'm not.
Tenshi: So you just expect me to believe... that this was you?!
Leonard: I don't see why not...
Tenshi: But you look nothing like her!
Leonard: Well yeah, I was like nine. My shape didn't really define until I became a teenager. I also didn't wear glasses until I was fifteen, which was when I decided to chop my hair off. Mother was not pleased.
Tenshi: That's amazing...It's such a drastic change!
Leonard: Yeah, my parents thought so too. They were actually upset, to be honest.
Tenshi: Because you got your hair whacked off?
Leonard: Because I didn't really look like a girl anymore. Hair was forming on my face and my voice wasn't necessarily the most lady-like, but they weren't the only ones that were taken by surprise. I was the one dealing with it.
Tenshi: Ah yes, the puberty transition. Mine was of course hell too.
Leonard: Oh I wouldn't believe otherwise, but the weirdest thing wasn't really the change, but more of my contentment.
Tenshi: Your contentment?
Leonard: My parents took me to a doctor, who was also baffled, and the best way he could label me was a "man lady". Not very creative, but I was actually OK with it because I didn't feel very lady-like to begin with.
Tenshi: I heard that! I'd go play rugby with the guys over balancing a book on my head.
Leonard: Well I wasn't the tough-guy type either. I was that child that was always to myself, creating crazy ideas with my imagination. That's why I took up sketching and storytelling.
Tenshi: Still loving your work by the way.
Leonard: Hahaha, I'm truly grateful, but yeah, I was little Leah, the lass who wasn't completely.
Tenshi: The only "lass" I would fall in love with years later. You were very brave to undergo the minor changes.
Leonard: And you are even braver to have fallen in love with a "woman" like me. It takes real guts.
Tenshi: You and I both know you consider yourself a man, "Leah".
Leonard: Sex and gender are different, "Miss Polly".
Tenshi: Gaaah, don't care! Love you anyway!
